In December, I visited Rostock.
This is my favourite picture of the trip: A 6sec exposure of a small container ship (at least I remember it being one) leaving nearby Warnemünde-harbour while the waters are uproaring against the mole's flare.

Look at the people, how sharp they are - it is a 6sec exposure - the did not move a bit!

Finally a version of the Marburg Caste I like...
This castle kind of dominates the town I live in.

The place from which I shot this image is called Kirchspitz.
According to the legend, the people centuries ago wanted to build the well known St. Elizabeth Church at this place. Yet, the building crashed every single night. The people saw the will of God in this and decided to do the following: They rolled a big stone down the hill from this place and where it came to rest, the buildt the actual church...
